Fabio Wardley, sporting an Ipswich top, held a serious expression, acknowledged the crowd, but appeared concentrated.
Despite being the smaller man, Wardley has superb stopping ability. He staged a remarkable turnaround against Justis Huni in the summer, behind on the official tallies then stopping his opponent in the tenth round although being outclassed for most of the fight.
"Joseph Parker, his team and boxing fans are about to discover I am meant to be at the top of this heavyweight ranks," Wardley affirmed.
"Every opponent has been the boxer pundits say will overcome me. This is that fight. He is too quick, too fast, vastly experienced. But My record is perfect yet, and nothing will change tomorrow night."
