The winger Had the team's best chance in the opening period, his strike well saved from the opposing goalkeeper. With a teammate holding position, he had to provide width out wide but his crosses into the box were inconsistent. Substituted late in the match. 6/10

Harry Kane The decisive figure with his two more strikes for his country. His first a typical close-range tap-in and his next a classy finish with his head having drifted away off his defender. Now 32, he continues to improve and the side have every chance next summer when he's in the team. 8
